Republic Day Celebration

74th republic day was celebrated at Siddaganga Medical College and Research Institute on 26th January 2023 at the college campus. The program was attended by The Principal, Medical Superintendent, CEO, students and faculty of Siddaganga Medical College and Paramedical staff of the hospital. Program began by offering tribute to freedom fighters. Flag hoisting was done by Dr. Shalini, Principal, SMCRI. Addressing the gathering, Principal spoke about the freedom struggle and mentioned about the rights and duties of Indian citizen provided in the constitution. Medical Superintendent Dr. Niranjana Murthy reminded youngsters their duties towards the nation. Students expressed their thoughts about the Republic Day, constitution and roles they had to play in building the nation. Students presented patriotic songs melodiously. The program was concluded by the Vote of thanks by Dr. Sanjeev, CEO of the hospital.
