The department of Anesthesia focuses on grooming the student to be a true professional with social and clinical acumen. Clinical areas of the department extend comprehensive anesthesia care to the patients in operation theatre as well as extended services in postoperative, ICU, ICCU, emergency and trauma care. Comprehensive pain management is delivered through a team of highly qualified Anesthesiologists. The department also focuses on updating the skills and knowledge of the faculty through various scientific programs, conferences and CMEs. The department runs BLS and ACLS programs to the students.
